BOOST has been selected as a member of the EU Expert Group on Nature Credits. Our consortium will be represented by Charlotte Maddinson, who will share the best practices developed in BOOST and in Finland, and ensure that we stay up to date on the latest developments at the EU level.

The expert group contributes to the development of the Nature Credits Roadmap, designed to reward nature-positive action and mobilize private finance. Its aim is to strengthen biodiversity, create new income opportunities for landowners, and direct private investment toward nature restoration and conservation.

In addition, Janne Kotiaho and Joel Jalkanen are part of the national EU expert support group, which supports the individuals and organisations participating in the Commission’s working group and enables national-level discussion on the development of nature value markets.
